When you need a heat source, Convectronics’ products are designed to meet and exceed all expectations!

Thermocouples are the most common, convenient and versatile devices used to measure temperature. They convert units of heat into useable engineering units that serve as input signals into process controllers and recorders.

Thermocouple wires are welded and insulation is sealed against liquid or gas penetration. This junction style provides the fastest possible response time but leaves the thermocouple wires unprotected against corrosive or mechanical damage.

Information contained here and in the Technical Information Section will provide you with basic operating principles, thermocouple material specifications, material tolerances, and recommended temperature limits.

The Plastic, Rubber and Packaging Industry sensors contained in the following pages are the most commonly used sensors in these three industries. The Thermocouple and RTD measuring elements all have insulated fiberglass leads inside the various sheath configurations.
