The Du Pont Belle Plant, located in Belle, West Virginia along the Kanawha River, produces roughly 40 agriculture and specialty chemical products. Belle has been producing hydroxyacetic (glycolic) acid for nearly 50 years.

From beach sand comes Wah Chang's first product, zirconium. Wah Chang produces its family of trademarked Zircadyne® alloys in ingots, forgings, fittings, plate, sheet, strip, foil, bar, rod, wire, pipe, tubing and powders.
The forming characteristics of niobium and niobium alloys are similar to mild steels. Niobium is well suited to deep drawing, and the metal may be cupped and drawn to tube, although care must be taken with lubrication. Niobium sheet metal can be formed easily without special working techniques.
